The New R6000 Series Gang Switch From Performance Communication supports a variety of switching and control applications in a rack mount chassis. Standard switch cards have Fiber Optic, Ethernet (RJ45) up to Gigabit, or DB25 connectors. Additional connector styles can be supplied - please call us for a quotation.

The A/B switch cards and switch controller have been designed for new installations and can also be cascaded from existing ADC Hadax Series 5000 switches.

The R6000 series A/B switch connects port C to port A or port B through latching telecommunication relays. The cards mate with a 4U (7" high) 19-inch chassis. The chassis has 18 slots, two of which are used for the controller/dual power supply card. The chassis can hold 16 A/B switch cards of any types - mix them as needed. Each A/B switch card can be individually switched and the entire bank can be switched from the A/B Switch Controller card. The A/B switch controller card has a keyed switch to enable and disable switching from this chassis.
